To celebrate their 10th year anniversary
SD(MGMT) asked U.I.WD. to redesign their new visual identityFollowing classic text typefaces used in fashion editorial magazines and crew credits, U.I.WD. has chosen to work with the contemporary digital serif type family Cardinal Fruit for the logo and has also chosen the Helvetica Neue Lt Std, used in taglines to support communication as a whole.
Another important aspect to mention is the use of parentheses in the logo, which is a graphic icon to help highlight/organize information such as artist's names and the categories they represent.
